All you have to do is click that option and the program will run the maintenance of your computer.

The “Increase performance” section includes tools like configure system startup, and display and uninstall programs. The display and uninstall program provides you the lists of programs installed in your computer just like your control panel. But what makes this tool unique from control panel is that you can organize the way you will view the programs (by file size, the time it was installed etc.) using this tool is very helpful especially when you evaluate which among the files you used the most and the least.

With “fix problems” tool, you can check if your hard disk has errors, fix common problems and restore deleted files. The last tool “customize windows” is just an enhancements of your computer display like taskbar and icons.

The only constraint of TuneUp utilities is its license cost of $49.99. Since majority of the tools that TuneUp Utilities offers can be found in the majority of free utilities, users might opt to use these freeware than to purchase TuneUp utilities. Maybe the reason why the trial version of the program offers the same features as the license version is to compete with all freeware available. However TuneUp utilities still a good choice for maintenance tool for your computer given its performance and integration of different utilities.
