qBittorrent for Windows 3.1.9.1

O. James Samson - April 30, 2014

The idea of a torrent that filters and is able to do a lot of other things is something a lot of people can’t afford to toy with. If you want a torrent that offers you opportunity to do much more than you already can do with other applications, then qBittorrent is not a bad idea.

What is qBittorrent?

qBittorrent is an advanced and multi-platform BitTorrent client with a nice Qt4 user interface as well as a Web UI for remote control and an integrated search engine. qBittorrent aims to meet the needs of most users while using as little CPU and memory as possible.

The program has a lot of amazing features that make it one of the best torrents available for download, and it is also an open source. Some of these features include the following: polished µTorrent-like User Interface; well-integrated and extensible Search Engine; simultaneous search in most famous BitTorrent search sites; torrents queuing and prioritizing; torrent content selection and prioritizing; UPnP / NAT-PMP port forwarding support; available in 25 languages; torrent creation tool; advanced RSS support with download filters (inc. regex); IP Filtering (eMule and PeerGuardian compatible); sequential downloading (aka “Download in order”); and IPv6 compliant.

Does it have any downside?

It has improved over the past few updates, and does not have any downside at the moment.
