Miranda IM 0.10.33
O. James Samson - June 23, 2015These days, people are developing more ways to express their feelings online. Through various instant messengers, families and loved ones are able to communicate and exchange messages in more ways than one; it then depends on the quality of IM you want to use.
What’s the big deal about Miranda IM?
Miranda IM is a multi-protocol instant messenger client for Windows. It is designed to be resource efficient and easy to use. It uses very little memory, requires no installation and can easily be carried around on a single floppy disc. The goal of this project is not to duplicate the functionality of AOL’s ICQ Client, but to design a client that has the basic features that is designed for mouse-less operation with a small memory requirement.
The IM supports multiple protocols, and provides some amazing features you may not find in some other Messenger apps. Miranda includes support for AIM, Facebook, Gadu-Gadu, Jabber, ICQ, IRC, MSN, Yahoo and many more. In addition to providing support for other messenger apps, it also provides you with the choice of hundreds of plugins, icons, sounds and other content, Miranda IM gives you the ability to modify, customize and extend functionality to make it your own.
Miranda is not the most complete IM you can find, with some users complaining that supports for a couple of other Messengers have not been included.
