Now you can remember everything from the birthday to the important projects that you need to make or present by the date with the help of TimeBell 1.3 software which will take care of most of your remembering work without fail. It’s easy to use and you are unlikely to experience any difficulty to set the features. Now you won’t forget the meetings with your boss, the subjects that you wanted to discuss with him and of course now you would not be charged as guilty for forgetting your anniversary.

The program takes up the current date and time from your PC itself. You need to enter the date and time on which you want to set the reminder for. You can type in the message like ‘Daughter’s Birthday’, ‘Meeting with Boss’, etc to get with the reminder. If you set a time work on a particular file or want to be reminded of some file then you can attach a file with the reminder to be displayed. Select the sound of your choice from the given selection so that it catches your attention you notice the reminder. You can see the list of the reminder set by you with all the details like date, time, message, files to be opened, etc. If you want to Reboot and Shutdown at a specific time, then you just need to set the time for the action to take place. Change the skin of the program to make it look attractive. You can minimize on start and also have the program to start with windows.

Actual Planner 2.0.1

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

Actual Planner is a powerful organizer that allows you to schedule tasks, generate your personal schedule, maintain your address book, maintain your blog and a lot more.

Pros: The application is an organizer of things to do. The usual facilities for maintenance of tasks, birthday/anniversary reminders and contacts management are there. Additionally writing to your blog page, maintaining it is easy too through this package. Maintain notes too created during the day. As the data is maintained in one database, it is easy to move back and forth between home and work computers.

It is possible to view tasks created over a span of time, It could just for the current day, the week, month or whatever. Complete contact details of your contacts can be created and viewed.

Notes are based on post-it like freeform pieces of texts that can be tacked on to a specific area. Obviously the notes can be about anything. Blog facilities include an editor that creates the html text necessary for posting at a site. Blog can be published at any of several popular blog sites.

The interface is simple and fairly easy to use, other forms and user screens that appear are easy to use too.

Cons: Nothing obviously problematic was noticed. Only issue to my mind was if this exact combination of aggregation is required by a large community of users. For the rest, there are several other packages available already.

Overall: Quite easy to use application. This is particularly useful for people who manage several blog sites. Overall, I would think, this is at the 4 star level.

Talking Time keeper

Wednesday, November 7th, 2007

Talking Time Keeper is a program that, as the name implies, tells you the time by talking! But it also has some other potentially useful features.
For example, it has very customizable multiple reminders, alarms and countdown timers.

The time can be announced on the hour/half hour/quarter, or on demand. It can be customized to use different voices, these are actual real voices.(Well, that is to say, they’re recordings of real voices anyway!)

Your own voice can even be recorded to announced the time if you have a microphone! (and some spare uh.. time!) You can also choose what kind of chimes to use including a grandfather clock. In addition it has a calendar, day/night map and world time for as many countries as you want. It’s also skinnable.

All in all if you really love time, and talking, you’ll really love this program! Interested? Take the time to click here for more info!
