Nonetheless, using these devices can be made more effective by associating cameras with your PC using an apt application. Well, the task is made even easier for you, as your webcam along with a security application named as CSSS Video 2.2 can be used for capturing the room/area activities. The application connecting with your webcam device supports real time survey by recording video or capturing snapshots of every movement. It further provide visual motion indicator that helps you set sensitivity level, and can silently call using modem, Skype, mobile phones, emails, or play sound. Even, in case of ‘call pickup’, the program can dial up to one to five phone numbers, also supports remote listening with voice modems, and include several other features.

CSSS Video 2.2 comprises of Video, Timer, Alarm, Operations, and About tabs to coordination between program’s and camera’s functioning. ‘Video’ tab enables viewing the area under webcam surveillance, and also provides features to check Level Now and Pick Up. In addition, you can also set Sensitivity level, use wizard, and options to start/stop the process, as required. Next tab is ‘Timer’ that provides two reverse timers, which can be set to start and stop the monitoring process at specific time. Along with this, it provides options like Test, Stop, In Using, Sound Record, Settings, Record Video, Viewer, Snapshots, and Open files, to control distinctive operations.
