Stardock Deskscapes 3.0 enhances windows Dream Scene and extends it to support  dynamic and animated wallpaper as their desktop background without causing your system to slowdown. The other good side of it is that it does not in any way interfere with the work you do nor your computer performance.

By default, this software supports the all new Dream format, Windows Dream scene works with MPEG and WMV videos as their contents. You can also add triggers, author information and dynamic contents. Also added to the feature of this software is that you can now know if a given file has been designed to be an animated wallpaper.

Stardock Deskscapes 3.0 are not a freeware even tough it has a free version. The problem I have with it though is that it begins to ask for software upgrade to enable you enjoy more features as soon as you install it. This apart, I think it is a good software and I would not mind upgrading it to the paid version.
