doPDF 7.0.320
O. James Samson - December 8, 2009This is a PDF program that installs itself as a virtual PDF printer driver. It appears in your printer and faxes list just after installation. it is simple to use, all you have to do is print the document to doPDF. Choose print and select doPDF and then it ask you where you want to save the file. When you are done with this step, it automatically opens in your default PDF viewer.
doPDF does not require a third party program to do PDF files such as GhostScript or runtime environments like the .NET Framework. With this you have a very small file that is small when compared to other free PDF converters. The doPDF program rarely uses memory or CPU resources when carrying out the actual work of converting from one program to PDF.
What thrills me most about this program is the size. With a size that is under 2 MB, I still marvel on how the publisher was able to put together a program such as this with so much output. When you begin to compare doPDF 7.0.320 with other programs you will get a clearer view of what I am talking about. This review will not be complete without mentioning the fact that installing it does not require installing Ghostscript (such as Bullzip.com PDF).
