Tomato 1.26
O. James Samson - December 8, 2009The name of this software program not only interest me but when I checked some of the features it has and the things functions it performs, I can not but be full of praise for the publishers. Tomato 1.26 is a software program designed to replace firmware for Linksys’ WRT54G/GL/GS, Buffalo WHR-G54S/WHR-HP-G54 and other Broadcom- based routers.
The GUI is now even easier to use, the QOS is more advanced, support for new wireless features such as WDS and wireless client modes, and limit for maximum connections for p2p have also been raised among other new features, making it a more advanced and technologically improved software more than ever than before. What is more to this version is that you can now run your custom scripts or telnet/ ssh in and do a lot of other things which include re-programming the SES/AOSS button, adds wireless site survey to see your wifi neighbors and so much more.
From download to installation and use, I never encountered much difficulty with this program. The last version is still doing well though, this version notwithstanding is expected to go many steps further to leave lasting impressions in my heart.
