TreeSize Professional 5.3.4
O. James Samson - February 1, 2010This program keeps you informed about the folders in your hard disk, letting you into which files are the largest or smallest, thereby recovering megabytes on them. TreeSize Professional shows you the size; space allocated for files as well as wasted space, the number of files, 3D bar and pie charts, the last access date, the NTFS compression rate and the file owner.
TreeSize Professional has an intuitive Explorer-like user interface and is also fast and multithreaded. Reports of collected data can be printed or rather exported to Excel and to an HTML, ASCII and XML files. Users can start TreeSize professional from the context menu of every folder or drive.
TreeSize Professional is not a freeware program, which means that interested users would have to pay for it. The program goes for $39.95 per download. A fair price if you ask me. Some of the benefits to enjoy when you purchase this program include: duplicate file search, optionally with MD5 checksums; ability to save data to XML file and to load it again latter; virtually track down disk space usage and see the size of all folders including their subfolders and break it down to the file level among others.
