LimeWire for Windows 5.5.0 Beta
O. James Samson - February 5, 2010Limewire is a popular file sharing application that allows users to share files over the internet. Individuals can search and share computer files with just anybody wherever they go, as long as they stay connected to the internet. Limewire is compatible with the Gnutella file-sharing protocol and can connect with anyone else running Gnutella compatible software.
One good thing about Limewire is the fact that the publishers always keep it updated and fresh. New features are always available and this is one area where this program has been able to gain strength and win a lot of users. Limewire for Windows 5.5.0 Beta has an even faster rate of download, meaning that users can now search for any file faster than they used to.
The result of any search varies and may largely depend on the speed of your internet and ultra-peer connections. Users have access to the Gnutella and BitTorrent networks and Limewire does not in any way claim responsibility for network contents or search results.
Users should however be aware that whatever file they share may not be free from virus, and therefore should be mindful of this danger.
