What is exactly wrong in trying out a program that is free to download and use without any limitations? 3DMark 2006 1.2.0 Build 1901 is a freeware program that is worth giving a try. I tried it out to see how great it is since it is not going to cost me anything in the first place. I must confess that I am pleased with its features and the ease of use.

This program is suitable for the latest generation of DirectX 9.0 graphic cards. To the best of my knowledge, 3DMark 2006 1.2.0 Build 1901 is the first benchmark to ever require a DirectX 9.0 compliant hardware with support for pixel shaders 2.0 or higher.

3DMark 2006 combines high quality 3D tests, feature tests, CPU tests, and image quality tools, as well as several others. If you want to evaluate the very latest in generation of gaming hardware, this program is a good benchmark for you to use. We all know how issues that bother on benchmarking has continued to be a challenge.
