OpenVPN 2.1.1
O. James Samson - March 17, 2010OpenVPN 2.1.1 is generally known for its feature-filled SSL VPN solution that has the capacity to accommodate a wide range of other configurations, not excluding remote access, site-to-site VPNs, Wi-Fi security, and enterprise-scale remote access solutions with load balancing, fail-over and fine-grained access-control.
Some of the features users can find and enjoy include the following: remote and secure access to network and application resources; secure and scalable site-to-site VPN; Wireless security; enabling of real-time interactive collaboration applications and some other features.
OpenVPN 2.1.1 is an improvement upon past version and users who are quite familiar with how to use this program have something to cheer about. OpenVPN has carved a niche for itself and even if it continues to get some challenges, the publishers have continued to hold their own. There is no harm in trying it, not just because it is free and open for use, but the fact that it is a fine program that does not need much technical knowledge to get used to.
