O. James Samson - July 1, 2010Total Uninstall can best be described as a complete uninstaller which includes two working modes (installed programs and monitoring programs).
Installed programs module works by simply analyzing existing installations and creates a log with the installation changes. It has the capacity to uninstall programs even without the aid of the supplied Add Remove program. Simply select the program you wish to uninstall and within a few seconds the tool will analyze it and even show in a tree view the detected files, folders, registry keys and values of the selected program.
On the other hand, Monitoring Program modules works by helping to monitor all changes made to users computer during the installation of a new program. What this means is that with this tool, users will be able to perform a complete uninstall without having to rely on the supplied Add Remove Program.
Some of its main features are: accurate analyze existing installations and create a log with installation changes; monitoring of changes from registry and file system for new installations; uninstall completely and thoroughly analyzes or monitor programs; creates a backup for a program and restore the program from backup; capacity to organize in groups installed or monitored programs.
