Flexible Renamer 8.3
O. James Samson - October 25, 2010Flexible Renamer is a file/folder renaming application that can use Wildcard or Regular-Expression and Tag-information (MP3, EXIF). Version 8.3 comes with additional changes and fixes that include the following: Windows 7 taskbar progress; Windows 7 taskbar list; fixed, “won’t launch after closing it in case of minimizing”; Nega-Colour arrangement; fixed, “property is not retrieved in case of the extension is upper-cased letter; and initialize the rename setting when terminating abnormally last time (deal with a problem of terminating abnormally even while reactivating and terminating abnormally).
Some of the recent language translation include; English/Japanese, Italian, French, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Portuguese, Deutsch.
Many new users are still going to find it difficult to find their ways around some of the features of this program. I have seen some few programs out there that have easy to understand user interfaces, and easy to understand features. Flexible Renamer is actually a freeware, and has wonderful features; especially if users can get to understand how they work in quick time. At least this is a good program for anyone who does not feel like grabbing a shareware in order to carry out his renaming assignments.
Flexible Renamer 8.3 runs on Windows 7, Windows 2000, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2008.
