ABBYY FineReader is also an application that gives you the edge to unlock the data inside paper-based documents, images, and PDF files to substantially enhance your work output.

Some of its key features include; PDF conversion, archiving and securing, reconstruction of document structure and formatting, 186 recognition language, outstanding OCR accuracy and format orientation, and many more. This version is both for individual and professional business users.

Version 10.0.102.185 comes with a set of new features designed to into increase efficiency at work, combined with a smart and easy user-interface. These new features include: conversion of complex documents with ABBYY ADRT; Enhanced export to HTML (specifically for E-book readers); PDF Compression; new version of ABBYY screenshot reader; new user-interface; 3 rd generation camera OCR; and many more.

System specification include; Windows 7/XP/Server 2003,2008/Vista. You also need to have a video card and monitor (1024×768 or lighter), a Twain or WIA compatible scanner, a digital camera or fax modem (optional), and others.

ABBYY FineReader Professional comes with an uninstaller; and is a shareware. It is not a bad program; especially because of its ability to output multiple formats.
