PDF Index Generator 1.4
O. James Samson - February 1, 2011PDF Index Generator is an indexing application for generating an index right from your book and writing it to your book in just a few easy steps. PDF Index Generator is also an application that parses your book, collects the index words and their location in the book; and goes ahead to write the generated index to a PDF or a text file you have specified. Of course, the publishers’ main target for designing the PDF Index Generator is to automate the process of generating the book index instead of doing the hard work manually. In other words, it is specifically created or designed to simplify the process of automatically generating the index. The basic requirement for this program to run effectively on your system is a Java JRE6.0 and above.
Some of the latest changes made to PDF Generator 1.4 include: addition of ability to write words in the index as links, linking to their pages in the book; addition of ability to group pages numbers, ex: 41-44 instead of 41, 42, 43, and 44; addition of ability to merge two or more words together in step 3 (while editing the index results); additional ability to enable more than one word in step 3 at the same time; addition of ability to remember selected words categories to include/exclude, instead of choosing them in every project; and better index results, excluding sentences that is now possible more accurate.
