Asset Tracker for Networks 9.1
O. James Samson - February 10, 2011This is an auditing application specifically intended to audit and take inventory of hardware components installed on the computers over the network. Asset Tracker for Networks will collect your network inventory information, provide the Network Administrator with bit-by-bit comprehensive reports, and allow you export assets details to external storages, such as SQL database or website.
Asset Tracker for Network comes with some newly added features and changes that include; the improvement of the Remove Inventory Wizard Window to display the status of the host being inventoried, an uninstaller, and a few others. However, this version still maintains its older features that have been of great help for many users in the past. These features include: network adapters; network shares; motherboard information; BIOS information; installed software; installed printer; computer serial number and manufacturer information; processor memory, and hard disk drives information; video subsystem; Winsock information; logged on user, operating environment; and many more.
Asset Tracker for Network does not only require inventory of Windows computers, but also network equipment, such as routers, switches or network printers. It is possible to view devices information, build consolidated reports and export device inventory information as soon as the inventory process is completed.
The price is huge, but the features are worth making checking out; and as a matter of fact, you can download a limited trail copy.
