WinSent Messenger is an instant messaging program for local area networks. The messenger allows you to conveniently and instantly exchange short text messages with other users of your network, send and receive personal messages to and from them, send broadcast messages to a group of users or to all users of the network. A couple of changes made in this version include the following; fixing of issues that cause errors when sending messages, addition of Portuguese (Brazil) translation, and addition of deleting contact list groups.

WinSent Messenger has simple but handy and easy-to-use user interface, and there is nothing superfluous; just things required for a comfortable work without excess body movements. The program has a contact list, message archive, LAN browser. The application supports configurable hot keys and sound notifications and offers a wide set of other options allowing you to customize the program’s behavior according to your needs and preferences. Low usage of system resources comes out of the great optimization work; its distribution package size is actually about 500 KB. Other features of messenger include the following; does not require a dedicated server or an internet connection, compatible with terminal server and newest Windows versions, NET SEND compatible, and a couple of others.
