GS-Base 8.2

O. James Samson - December 2, 2011

GS-Base is a flexible and portable database that will help you transform your data into tables of records, analyse it using pivot tables and quickly look up any information you need. With GS-Base, you can print forms, letters and labels, send personalized email messages with customized attachments or publish html pages using your own html templates.

Users who download this version of GS-Base can look forward to a couple of new additions that include the following; new printing options (improved label printing, and new print setup), GS-Base can now use an optional *.gsb file extension for its database *.zip files, improved object/image (inserting and) handling, more format types displayed as graphics in binary fields, a new “Edit > Convert Field > Replace Substrings” command performing table-based, batch character/substring substitutions for all records at once, and significantly smaller setup file size after removing the older, previously bundled graphics/jpeg library.

Some other older features in GS-Base include the following; 12 million records x 2047 fields in one table, managing any type of data, around 300 standard built-in formulas that can be used to automatically calculate field values, easy database synchronization, printing tables, sending personalized e-mail messages with customized attachments, strong password protection and encryption, and many more.
