PstMsg Extract and Export Tool is an integration of MAPI (Microsoft Messaging API) and MSSQL (Microsoft SQL) Server based technologies to achieve fast and complete configuration driven data transformation of MAPI properties to a SQL Server table. The program processes Microsoft Outlook PST (Personal Storage) files, Profiles, and Disk Messages. It exports MAPI properties of Folders, Messages, and Attachments along with runtime values to database tables. Contents of attachments are not extracted. Most features of the tool are point-and-click.

PstMsg Extract and Export Tool has a lot of outstanding features that include the following; configuration driven export of Outlook PST and Message MAPI properties to SQL Server tables, builds PST file by scanning disk folders for Message files, extracts Messages from multiple PST files to disk, extracts attached files and Microsoft Office 97-2003/2007/Adobe Acrobat PDF Ole embedded attachments from Outlook Messages, imports a custom MAPI property in Messages while building PST file, and exports Messages, Recipients, Attachments, Folders, and Associated Folder MAPI properties in new or existing SQL Server tables.

PstMsg Extract and Export Tool requires Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, approximately 15MB of disk space, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 or Microsoft SQL Express Desktop Engine, and Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or higher with Microsoft Office 2007.
