It combines the features of Sysinternals utilities, Filemon and Regmon, and includes a comprehensive list of enhancements such as rich and non-destructive filtering, a detailed event properties such as session IDs and user names, reliable process information, full thread stacks with integrated symbol support for each operation, simultaneous logging to a file, and much more. Its uniquely powerful features will make Process Monitor a core utility in your system troubleshooting and malware hunting toolkit.
Some of the functional capabilities of this software are: it captures more data for operation input and output parameters, its non-destructive filters allows you to set filters without any data loss, reliable capture of process details. Filters can also be set for any data field, including fields not configured as columns. Its advanced logging architecture scales to several tens of millions of captured events and gigabytes of log data. The detailed tooltip allows for convenient access to formatted data that doesn’t fit into the column. The native log format preserves all data for loading in a different process monitor instance. It also records all boot time logging of all operations.
