LibreCAD is a free Open Source CAD application for Windows, Apple and Linux. Support and documentation is free from our large, dedicated community of users, contributors and developers. While the interface might look a bit cluttered at first, spending more time around the tool will help you get familiar with it. However, to enable you find your way around the software with little stress, you can make use of the Help documentation that comes with it.
LibreCAD has a long list of formats it supports at import such as DXF, LFF, CXF, JWW, BMP, GIF, ICO, JPG, PNG, PPM, SVG, TIFF, WBMP, XBM and TGA, while export is possible using DXF, LFF, CXF, DDS, ICNS, PBM, PNG, ICO, BMP, SVG, TIFF, ICO and PDF extensions. In terms of generating2D CAD drawings without errors, LibreCAD has some of the best features you can find.
Few changes and additions have also been made to this version to include; updated translations, added non-uniform knots support, added Edit -> Device Options, ensured mouse wheel zooms on Mac, eliminated crash on save when auto backup is off, and eliminated invalid bounding boxes from auto zoom.
