Tor for Windows 0.2.1.21
O. James Samson - January 9, 2010Tor for Windows 0.2.1.21 is a program built to improve your online privacy and security. Security no doubt dominates a lot of discussion when it comes to browsing the internet, and nothing creates more anxiety and worry than our online privacy.
The program helps users to anonymize their web browsing and publishing, instant messaging, SSH and other applications compatible with the TCP protocols, providing a platform on which every software developer develops and build new applications with built in anonymity and privacy features.
Tor works by bouncing around network servers which are also known as Onion Routers. Normally, there ought to be direct route from source to destination. Data packets on the Tor Network instead take a random pathway through several servers that cover your online tracks, shielding you from observers at any point in time, making sure that data coming or going out are not traced to any source.
The summary of what Tor does is that, it provides every user online privacy and protection against individuals and group whose aim is to analyse traffic. Tor is an open source program and is free for download.
