Mozilla Thunderbird for Windows 3.1 (Alpha)

O. James Samson - February 4, 2010

Mozilla Thunderbird is a remake of the Mozilla mail components, with the aim of producing a cross platform stand alone mail application. Mozilla Thunderbird uses the XUL user interface language. It is designed specially and only for those who uses Mozilla Firefox or other stand alone browsers.

In my opinion, I think Mozilla Thunderbird is a nice piece of work from the publishers of Mozilla. I have enjoyed it so far, and even if this was not the case from the first time it came out, there have been lots of improvements. Some of the new additions to Thunderbird 3.1 include: tabs for those who enjoy tabbed emails; new search interface which contains filtering and timeline tools to pinpoint exact email you are looking for; message archive and others.

Like I said earlier, it is a well developed piece of work and it gets better by every version that comes out. The publishers have not done badly at all.
