ChateX is a new client-server, as well as an all in one chat program developed to operate quickly. The program has a lot of features that every user will certainly find very useful after installation. Some of these features include; it works fast under most conditions, fast file transfer, which can be paused and resumed later, allows users to transfer files up to 1000 GB, drag and drop files over a user name in the listbox, as well as send textbox on private chat, chat logging, admin controls as well as other important basic features or functions needed by people who chat regularly.

This application also checks all data when it is received in the client or the server side, and if it is not right, it will be ignored. ChateX can easily be customized to suit your chatting needs; and of course, it is useful through the Internet as well as LAN.

Version 1.17 comes with an uninstaller, as well as a couple of other updates and additions that include the following: private chat now works by username instead of user ID; addition of notification on main chat when someone changes name; addition of URL detection (chat links can be enabled from options to be automatically opened in browser when clicked); and a host of others.

ChateX is a freeware program and is available without limitation.
