An open source project, Openoffice.org for windows 3.2 Beta is a standard office suite that runs superbly on most major platforms and gives access to all features and datas through component based APIs and XML based file formats.

This software does a lot of things for you. From reading and making Microsoft word (official) to Excel and power point files, the new openoffice.org for windows 3.2 Beta is a delight. I tried it on most file formats like pptx and xlsx and the results were just great.

Though office 7 works just as well, the fact that openoffice.org for windows is still in Beta state makes it software to watch as it has the potential to becoming one of the best software in its category.

The interface is something I think the publishers could further improve upon, I believe they could do much better in this area than they have already done. Also, the size seem to make it a lot slower and thereby making my system to run slower than before installation.
