REAPER for Mac OS X 3.2 Beta

O. James Samson - January 18, 2010

This program is for that lively and social minded online person who loves to do great things with music. It is one of the most reasonable Windows applications that allow you to record, arrange, edit and even render multi-track waveform audio. It may not be easy for a person who is not a pro to get used to this program.

Reaper provides extensive features that bring delight to recording. It is small and does not pose any problem during download and installation. The installation comes with a lot of sample effects including a sample project.

Some of the features are: support for ASIO; Wave out; DirectSound for Playback and recording; Kernel Streaming among others. Reaper for Mac OS X 3.2 Beta is also able to read WAV, OGG and MP3 Files. Users can also use it to arrange any number of items in any number of tracks and still enjoy the use of audio processing plug-ins.

On the other hand, Reaper for Mac OS X 3.2 Beta is a shareware and any interested user of the program will have to cough out the sum of $60.00 to buy it from the publisher’s site. Talking about the price, I think it depends on each individual. I want to believe the publishers can lower it a little bit more. Really, I do not wish to take anything away from this program, but I think the price is not too friendly.
