Cobra Check Mail 1.23
O. James Samson - March 16, 2011Cobra Check Mail is one of those utilities that enable you monitor your unread mail on any POP3 mail servers. It works by alerting of an unread mail as soon as it is detected via the task bar icon, and a balloon pop-up (if configured). You can then view the unread mail directly from the server and choose to delete individual mail you do not want to keep. As a matter of fact, you can do this before downloading any mail onto your computer using your normal email client application.
Version 1.23 already comes with some latest additions and changes that include the following: addition of toolbar and status bar to view Mail window; fixed to stop error icon being left displayed when no mail messages; fixed to stop error icon being left displayed after error clears; addition of check updates facility to the About box; addition of uninstall option to start/programs menu; constrained balloon timeout setting to between 1 and 60 seconds; and many more.
Cobra Check Mail sells for $8; and though, this is a token amount to pay for an email application; there are certain freeware programs that could do just as much. However, users can delight in the fact that they can access or check the following accounts easily; Hotmail, Google Mail, and the Microsoft Exchange Server.
