EF File Catalog 3.70

O. James Samson - December 12, 2013

Are you looking for an application that allows you to catalog your entire drive or only the information that is of interest of you? Of course, you will be able to browse and search, even if you are offline. Then you should check out this review of EF File Catalog because it might do you some good.

What’s EF File12 Catalog?

EF File Catalog is a powerful program to help you to catalogue all your drives. Browse and handle folders: ACE, ARC, ARJ, BZIP2, CAB, GZIP, LHA, RAR, TAR, TGZ, ZIP, and ZOO archives. Automatically extract descriptions from files like MP3, executables, or FILE_ID.DIZ. The interface of EF File Catalog is intuitive and looks just like Windows Explorer, which will make managing all the information you want to catalogue very easy for any type of user, no matter how experienced they may be in the IT department.

EF File Catalog supports mostly used compressed file formats such as 7-ZIP, ACE, ARC, ARJ, RAR, RPM, SFX and many others, but if you want to, you can also add an external packer plugin.

Any downside?

Not all units are saved to disc, and users will have to endure annoying nag screen.
