Comodo internet security integrates the Comodo antivirus, Comodo firewall and the Comodo Defense almost seamlessly. The publishers have taken time out to look into so many bug related issue in past edition and have now come up with an improved version. Whichever of Comodo firewall or Comodo antivirus you have, you can be rest assured that they both can stand alone.
Though Comodo internet security comes as a freeware program, critics should not use this as a yardstick to determine its usefulness. It does not lack the capacity to provide full security for both small and heavy users alike. Some of the features users stand to enjoy when they install this program on their system are: all-in-one firewall and antivirus; easy to install and configure; easy and prompt detection and subsequent elimination of unwanted programs and so many more.
Comodo antivirus has been a popular security program for some time now, even if it is not in the same class as AVG, it still boasts of minimal bugs.

This program falls under the categories of open source programs that work much more than expectation. The publishers have made fragmentation much more fun than it used to be. UltraDefrag 4.0.1 RC8 is an open source defragmentation tool for Windows NT. This version is much faster and this can be traced to the fact that defragmentation is done by kernel-mode driver.
UltraDefrag 4.0.1 RC8 has three basic interfaces, and these are as follows: graphical; console as well as native. The GUI is most essential because it represents file system virtually as a colour coded map. The console on the other hand, is an option for those who would rather have the command line; allowing you to run UltraDefrag from the task scheduler and scripts.
Some of the features that can be found in this version include: computer shutdown after a job has completed; fast disc optimization; single file and folder defragmentation; boot time defragmentation; defragment scheduler among others.

Apart from the user interface which in my opinion is a bit too old, the thumbnail which also needs some minor update, everything is just fine. Blender is an extremely fast and useful for instrument for designing. It gives users a unique approach to the world of Three Dimensions, with some personal touches here and there. Users can use it to create Television commercials, make technical visualizations, business graphics, morphing, and to also design some interfaces.
Another unique way to use this program is to build and manage complex environments. The renderer is very versatile and very fast as well. Like I said earlier, the publishers need to work on the interface, which in my opinion is a bit too old and needs some minor updates here and there to make it perfect. This may also encourage more users to download and use this program.
Blender for Windows 2.50 Alpha 2 is good enough to compete with some shareware programs. Users are going to find it very useful and productive.

AVG Technologies, developers of the world’s popular free anti-virus software, announced that LimeWire LLC has licensed the AVG Anti-Virus SDK engine and has integrated the anti-virus/anti-spyware protection into LimeWire Pro file sharing software. From now on all files will be scanned before LimeWire Pro will allow them to play or execute on an end user’s computer, which prevents infected files from harming machines. LimeWire Pro users will see the “Protected by AVG” assurance whenever a downloaded file is safely scanned and cleaned.
The agreement is part of the AVG’s new Global Strategic Alliances (GSA) group 2010 partner program focused on development, licensing initiatives and strategic partnerships in security, social media and the online community.
Millions of people use peer-to-peer networks every day to exchange audio, video, documents and other files. LimeWire is the leading provider of peer-to-peer networking applications and distributes the most popular peer-to-peer application in the world with 50M monthly users. LimeWire has integrated AVG’s security SDK into LimeWire Pro, its premium file-sharing software, to automatically scan each download to help keep LimeWire’s users secure.
“Peer-to-peer networks have come a long way. People are using peer-to-peer networks to share files and documents, and we are pleased to be protecting them,” said Rocco Donnino, SVP of Global Strategic Alliances, AVG Technologies. “AVG is committed to securing our online world, whatever it takes.” The ad hoc architecture of peer-to-peer networks affords no central point where security policies can be enforced, making the networks vulnerable to infected files, adware, spyware and other malware creeping into the system. It is incumbent upon users to secure their computers in order to protect both their own computers and the general health of their peer-to-peer network.
“LimeWire is committed to providing peer-to-peer’s best user experience and we are vigilant about user security,” said Jason Herskowitz, VP Product Management, LimeWire. “We are always looking for ways to improve, and with AVG’s seamless integration into LimeWire, we will be providing users with peer-to-peer’s most secure technology.”

The major problem people face when they go online is security. The internet appears to be witnessing the coming of more security programs these days and this has either impacted positively or negatively. The threat people face is the rate at which more harmful programs are released every day on the internet.
Reanimator is a free of charge security program, built to help delete or remove harmful programs like: Trojans; Spyware and Adware. It supports Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2004/XP/2003 operating systems. Users can also use Reanimator along with other antivirus or security programs without much complication.
A lot of false positive alarms were common in the last update and I believe the publisher should by now have taken a look at it. This version includes some new updates and changes like: improved virus scan engine; added detection latest TDL3 rootkits and an updated application database.
I personally take security very serious and this account for why I would rather suggest a paid program when going online.

There is really nothing bad when an application owner is trying to track how well his application is being used. Such is the task the Concerity Analytics Free 1.0 Beta is built for. It allows desktop application software to track basic usage information about how and when or even where and what hardware customers are using or deploying the software.
It has the potential of recording time stamp each time a customer launches, closes or even crashes your application. The dashboard added to this program gives you the opportunity to watch the data over and over again. One good thing about Concerity Analytics is that it can provide you with online report of the geographical and country location of every user of your application.
I personally do not think this program is built to invade anybody’s privacy simply because it informs. As a matter of fact, the publishers deserve a pat on the back for making this program free, even if it is for free.

For $29.00 you can begin to enjoy all the benefits of WordWeb 6.1 English language program. It includes a comprehensive English thesaurus and dictionary, and users can even use it for looking up words from within most programs. The free version of this program is also good and features such as: pronunciations; proper nouns; related words and others can also be enjoyed by users.
If you have been using the free version of WordWeb for a long time, you will agree with me that it is indeed a commendable program. The paid version is just some more steps into the great work the publishers have made of this program as a whole. For the above amount, I do not have any problem with it.
WordWeb does much more than what a paper dictionary would do for you. Each set of synonyms is linked to other related sets. I like it and I think it’s a great work from the publishers as well.
