This is a screen capture and image editing application useful for Windows; it is able to capture screens from standard desktop programs. Some of the standard desktop programs HyperSnap-DX 6.80.03 is able to capture include Direct3D; Glide mode games; hard-to-grab DirectX and 3Dfx Voodoo. Users who have this program installed on their systems can also capture frames from a lot of software DVD players and other software that plays videos.

Version 6.80.03 has some new additions and updates that the publishers have considered necessary to keep this program running fine. Some of these new features and updates are as follows: optional toolbar for Internet Explorer and Firefox web browsers; Hot Keys dialogs now check for duplicate key definition and refuse accept duplicates; correction of Autoscroll for Opera 10.5 and addition of region with scrolling function, which has been added to the function menu among others.

This program works well for those who want to do multiple tabs editing, it is made up of plain and rich text format, multi tab interface. Users can enjoy the multi tab interface that enables them edit multiple documents in a session, multi commands and compact application size.

Not really up there in terms of performance, even if it is tagged free open source, the publishers should have even done a little bit better. It is such a huge program and when you consider the fact that it relies or depends on the .Net frame fork, you begin to worry about size and other issues. I think it could be made to function independently without the .Net.

Among the latest updates and changes are: the UI update; update of the option dialog; and of course users now have the option that allows them to hide the status bar. This was not there in previous updates and editions.

For a freeware, I think it is fair, but for the .Net.

The price for me is high and could have come a little bit lower than it is. The fact that it gives you a unlimited royalty and lets you distribute screen savers for free does not mean one has to pay that much for it. At $59.85, it is high, but for the fact that it does a lot of work, it is not a bad program after all. Screensaver Factory Professional now has an improved flash support.

Even though most computers cost more than the price this program is put at, I still have my doubt if it is worth the huge cost; $69.95. on the other hand, any program that can help users solve a lot of technical issues an still able to save them a lot of money in the process is not a bad one. Some of the features of this program include: disc clean up; removing duplicate files; security delete files and safe installer.

The major problem this program is going to face is the slow response it accords issues that has to do with bugs. In the past, there have been so many cry and complain about the system shields that makes users lose files when downloading. This is a major problem that is still there and may have negative effect on the acceptance of the program.

I think the publishers have a long way to go to resolve the above problem, not forgetting the huge amount one would have to pay to download one from their website.
