Malwarebyte is a fine program when it comes to checking attacks on your system. It is one of the best anti-malware programs that can be used to remove most dangerous and advanced spyware from a computer that has already been affected or invaded. The scan is one of the fastest I have seen in its category. It can scan your computer and remove malware in the process faster than most programs because of its size.
This newly released version comes with some new bug fixes and other changes as well. Some of the fixes include: problems associated with detecting certain types of malicious software have been fixed; problems related to memory usage spiking in protection module resolved; errors discovered with 704 (0, 0) corrected and the publishers have also taken time to fix some crashes noticed during computer scan.
Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware 1.43 is a shareware and for $24.95, can be downloaded and used on your computer to help enhance the security of your computer. Malwarebyte on the other hand keeps increasing in size because of the size of the files it has to download every time it updates. This is one area where the publishers need to look into.

Does Avast still need much introduction? This is one antivirus program that has gained a lot of attention over the past few years. Avast may be a free program in the antivirus category, but it qualifies to be regarded as one of the most reliable program in its category.
Avast is an antivirus set that can help your computer detect the presence of viruses. The kernel is built with a powerful boot-time scan, improved resident protection, script blocker and heuristic analysis for email. This version which is still in its Beta stage works as an on-demand or resident virus scanner.
One key feature users look out for when buying or downloading any antivirus program is the issue of updates. Avast is built to regularly update itself on a daily bases all by itself. Updates are usually done silently while you continue with your work online.
Just like I mentioned earlier, Avast is not a bad program, and because it is a free program for home use does not take anything out of it. Users who want a more robust and comprehensive antivirus program can go for the pro version of the program.

This program is open source and gives users access to a new vista into web browsing with the new features added by the publishers. Initially when the last version came out, users had some problems with it. One of the problems users had was the publishers’ failure to add a bookmark or favorite system as part of its features.
However, this browser is secure and provides users with fair performance and some cross- platform functionalities. One of the major goals of the publishers is to safeguard the privacy of users online. The installer allows users to install Dooble and a host of other integrated privacy features like browsers, search engines, secure e-mail client and secure messenger.
In this version, users can find such great features like: the addition of two new search engines (Faroo and Scroogle); addition of my retrieved file which makes it easier for users to locate downloaded or retrieved files; addition of exciting new File Explorer; faster Dooble search engine; Double Desktop improvement with Windows and background wallpapers among others.
Though Dooble for Windows cannot be rated as same as other browsers like Explorer and Firefox, it is still fair enough to be used. There are rooms for improvement and the publishers could do some more work to raise its standard a little more than it is at the moment.

Mozilla keeps introducing a lot of new programs into the internet. This new program is one I find very interesting, but good only for those who do not have Mozilla on their system yet. Edskes is a silent set up software for Mozilla Firefox that automatically downloads and installs the latest version of Mozilla Firefox on your system.
Edskes Software does not ask you questions that are too difficult for you to respond to during installation. As a matter of fact, it opens up as soon as you are through with the installation on your computer. The good thing about this program is that it enables you to quickly use Firefox on any computer of your choice. The use of this program is not necessary for those who already have Firefox installed on your computer.
As long as you have this utility installed on your system, it takes you from one website to another, giving you a rich browsing experience in the process. It does not have any limitations and can be used freely as long as you wish on any computer system.

This program is for that lively and social minded online person who loves to do great things with music. It is one of the most reasonable Windows applications that allow you to record, arrange, edit and even render multi-track waveform audio. It may not be easy for a person who is not a pro to get used to this program.
Reaper provides extensive features that bring delight to recording. It is small and does not pose any problem during download and installation. The installation comes with a lot of sample effects including a sample project.
Some of the features are: support for ASIO; Wave out; DirectSound for Playback and recording; Kernel Streaming among others. Reaper for Mac OS X 3.2 Beta is also able to read WAV, OGG and MP3 Files. Users can also use it to arrange any number of items in any number of tracks and still enjoy the use of audio processing plug-ins.
On the other hand, Reaper for Mac OS X 3.2 Beta is a shareware and any interested user of the program will have to cough out the sum of $60.00 to buy it from the publisher’s site. Talking about the price, I think it depends on each individual. I want to believe the publishers can lower it a little bit more. Really, I do not wish to take anything away from this program, but I think the price is not too friendly.

When a software publisher designs a program with the users in mind, it goes a long way in showing how good the program is. For the publishers of Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.0 Beta 7, they have successfully put together a great program. Atlantis Word Processor is light and does not make your computer drag.
The good thing about Atlantis is the fact that it provides an innovative approach to processing of documents. Processing documents can be a tough task on its own, but when you have a program that take s a lot of work off you, your task is half finished.
The features are so easy to understand even from installation, that even a novice can understand it quickly. Users can now create epub files for those who read eBooks, an easy autocorrect feature ensures that your work is easily edited, spell checks as typing is going on and so many other new features. The interface is also easy to customize to suit the need of the user.
The price on the other hand is a bit too high. This is the only area I think the program may be having some problem. Though a shareware, the publishers should have done a bit more to bring down the price.

This tool is useful for all those who wish to have control of their hard disk drives. A lot of people would easily agree with me about the place our files and other valuable information occupy in our hearts. Therefore, it is regarded as the most valuable element of any computer system. With the help of the S.MA.R.T System, users of this program can predict a possible failure of the HDD before it actually occurs.
Hard Drive Inspector 3.35 allows users of computers to exceed the traditional limits of HDD’s reliability, therefore helping all users to expand the level of valuable data protection either online or offline. Following complains made by users in the last version of this program, the publishers have gone ahead to add support for Toshiba PX1270E-1G16 External Drives and Support for Western Digital My Passport Elite.
As for the price, I think the publishers should bring it down a little more. At $29.95, I want to believe this program is overpriced, and this may not be acceptable to a lot of users out there. However, it is all the same a fair program. Users who don’t speak the English Language can also find this program useful because the publishers added some other languages to it.

This is a good program designed for capturing and processing utility for 32-bit windows platforms. Though not in the same category as Adobe Premiere, VirtualDub 1.9.8 is a program built and streamlined for fast linear operations over video. It consists of batch-processing capabilities for the processing of large numbers of files and can also be further extended to third party video filters.
VirtualDub 1.9.8 is licensed under the GNU program also known as the General Public License, and is available for free download. Some of the features of this program under review are: Processing of AVI Files; handling of sets of BMP images among others. It is on the whole, a fine program for rotating your videos.
Basically, if a user need to perform some fast capture and encoding, this program does it very well and even helps to trim and clean up videos before being exported to tape or processing with another program. It is a very useful program and could as well pass for a paid program as well. Good job done by the publisher.
