Blocks ads, spyware and adware installers and third-party systems. With the Amuncher 4.73 Build, you don’t have to choose things you want blocked and the ones you don’t want. Another good thing is that you don’t have to configure any third party filter list to get it to do what it is built to do.
Admuncher 4.73 works with as many browsers such a: Opera; Internet Explorer; Mozilafirefox and as many browsers as you can remember. It also works fine with the yahoo jukebox, imesh, pando and paltalk and not to forget that it works well with yahoo messenger and ICQ.
This software gives you all the assurance you need when it comes to ads and filtering. It is just as good for the newbie as it is for the pro out there. It is easy to install and does not require complex configuration which saves you a lot of stress when it comes to using some of its features.
Admuncher on the other hand, scrambles your IP which in the process of doing so routes your internet surfing through some other routes which slows down your system some times.

Swiftcompare lite is a free application that that is easy to use and helps you to file your folder comparison as well as synchronize. It also helps you to merge all types of files, binary inclusive.
Though a free utility, Swiftcompare lite helps those who are into programming, business, people who move from one location to another and need to and need to work at multiple sites and every one who keeps multiple back ups. This free software helps you to protect your files and documents from damages and accidental deletes.
Swiftcompare lite on the other hand can not help to perform copying of files between folders, this I find to be a major minus and sure the publishers could work on this next time. Also, for the lovers of HTML, Swiftcompare can not be of use as it does not generate it and you may have to look for other software in the category that can do this.

Here is one antivirus that has a tradition of detecting the presence of virus in a computer perfectly. It still retains most of its regular features that has earned it a name over the years. Features such as Boot-time scan; Resident protection (improved), Heuristic analysis for email, and not to forget its script blocking ability.
This version still works better as an on demand and resident virus scanner. The fact that it takes only a few learning to get adjusted to Avast makes it a great antivirus software that is a must have for that individual who wants security online.
Another feature I find in this version that one can also find in older version is the Skin. In my opinion, I think the publishers should start thinking about introducing some more options in the skin features. I think Avast is a little bit conservative when it comes to changes in this part of its feature.
On the whole, it is not a bad software and come to think of it, it is still in its Beta stage!

Wildbit viewer 5.6 Alpha is an image viewer with slide shows and compactly packaged. It is built with Thumbnail viewer, which includes image info and Meta data JPEG and TIFF support. This version also includes a shell toolbar where you can drop your favorite folder.
The editing options are also good, options available for the viewer is also fine even though it still needs some more improvement on the part of the developers. Another major asset of this software is that it does not hose your system extension settings and there by not giving you any course to worry about the state of your system.
The developers need to work on the speed of this software especially the slow pace of slide show and search. File search can be a lot faster than it is at the moment.

When you compare Adobe Reader to the Foxit Reader, then you are looking at one of the lightest pdf reader available. Foxit PDF Reader 3.1.2.1013 comes with more useful features like: Multimedia support and content-sharing options, while still allowing you to quickly access your PDFs.
The interface is also wonderful when compared to Adobe, so,changing your reading habits is not a necessity. Also, the speed at which it starts is also a confirmation of its size and weight.
On the other side of it, you still have to look for the Commands and it is usually hard to find. As a matter of fact, you have to start going through a curve to learn how to make use of it. I believe that only those who are patient can actually wait to get used to it. What about the search bar? I tried removing it because it was not doing me any good and what did I see? A warning that removing it will make some of its features not to work properly.

Scott’s Gmail Alert is one of the best I have seen when it comes to email alert or notification. It is designed with different colors to indicate when you have a mail or mails and can indicate up to five different accounts. It works perfectly with Gmail, Google application and RSS feeds and is noticed at your task bar section.
It is wonderful software and I bet you will love the way it blinks and when you consider that all you have to do is just sit by you desktop and get notification for new mails, then you will better appreciate what I am talking about.
I can’t find a fault with this and not even the hardened software critique would.
The recently released version 3.60 has these additional features:
- Optimization: Multi threaded networking added.
- Improved: Language Files
- Feature Added: More account options. Ability to open account in different browsers.
- Feature added: More Calendar options.
- Bug fix: Proxy Server bug fixed.
- Bug fix: Other minor bugs fixed.

It helps you to clean and monitor your system, and thereby keeps your computer working perfectly without any problem and helps you control other computers in your Local Area Network (LAN).
Frankly speaking, I would have preferred some older versions of it, but because it is still in its beta stage, gives a lot of room for improvement.

I love to organize my things especially when it comes to keeping records and keeping up with appointments that is why I fell in love with Alarm++ 8.0.5 software. If you are my type of person or may be you are just the type who is always having problems with fixing and keeping up with schedules, then this is one is for you.
You will love it right from when you run it and the ease at which you will get acquainted with it makes it a delight. It has the ability to create multiple alarms, repeating it at different intervals. It could repeat at specific week days, weeks, months and even weeks of the month!
Alarm++8.0.5 could also be set for every particular day of any particular week, like Friday of every second month and so on. It is one software to remember even after another version comes out some time in the future.
