WeGame is a video gaming website for gamers to share gaming videos and screen-shots. These can then be commented and rated by others. Lately this site has also brought out a video game recording software also called WeGame.

You’ll need to create an account at the website, but this is free to do. The videos and screen-shots that can be made with the program are saved on your computer with the option of uploading to the website if you should choose so. It also includes an option to automatically upload screen-shots but this can be turned off in the settings.

Creating videos or taking snapshots of your gameplay can be controlled by 2 hotkeys. You can select the quality of the recording , so you can have low quality for faster loading from the web or better quality if you’re just watching it locally from your computer for example.

A Panic Button or Boss Key is a feature of some software for hiding some obvious open windows on your desktop when you press it. This usually works by minimizing or otherwise “hiding” open windows instantly when the key is pressed.

It offers up to four options that will be activated with the hotkey (Windows Z but you can change this). There is a new chess program for Windows and Linux, it is arasan. Arasan is copyrighted, but permits free distribution, with certain restrictions.

Arasan 11.1 which is the newest model was released in December, 2008. The Windows version runs on Windows 95 or more recent versions. The Linux version comes in source only, and requires GCC to build (version 4.0 or greater recommended).

This program has both a native Windows user interface and a console-based chess engine for use with Winboard or xboard. It also functions with Arena, another free chess interface, and with UCI-compatible programs like Shredder.

The Arasan package includes an opening book with over 100,000 moves.

This is a simple and easy to play game. If you love heavy graphics you probably won’t like this as it is a very simple game. But it is still a delight for chess fans, check it out and see if it is your kind of game.

Cons: The application lets you select a year too when selecting a month for your calendar to be prepared. What would one want to do with a calendar for some earlier year is not very clear. Similarly next year may be an useful thing but is it useful to go further into future! Also sharing the calendar would be effective only if marking events on one calendar updates details of collaborators calendars otherwise it is just exchange of documents.

Cons: Slider control navigating play list or specific track is a little uncommon. Most users are familiar with the more common forward/fast forward and rewind controls.

Pros: This is a lite version of the Feed Editor RSS Creator which is useful for creating professional RSS feeds. It features an easy to use interface. The interface has an in-built HTML editor which makes HTML editing tasks simple and one doesn’t need to leave the tool to get that editing done. “Feed image” view is especially useful for visualizing what the RSS feed will look. “Feed items” view is where most of the editing takes place.

Cons: The publisher’s description reads the same as the Feed Editor RSS Creator version. This may give an impression that this is as good. Nothing can be farther from the truth.

Sadly, this is a (much) watered-down version of the Feed Editor and hardly any functions work or work to a level where they can be useful. The recommendation is to skip this one and go for the full version which is full-featured and a really nice tool for a novice as well as an expert looking to create professional RSS feeds. This is a trial version but one is better off trying the full version.

One of the best features which is the uploading of podcasts simply does not work in this version. As such the interface is too simple and could use some work.
