The latest version of the RunScanner software was released recently and it has already been downloaded thousands of times by many adoring fans that loved the previous versions of the program. In the newest version of the program, three major bug fixes have been put in place. The first is a fix of the invalid bitmap error that sometimes appeared for no reason, while the other two bugs deal with problems in analyses that the program carried out on different programs that were available and running on your system. All in all, this release of the software has been made much stronger by the bug fixes and that should come as very good news to people that already liked the previous version.
RunScanner is a freely downloadable Windows utility that will allow you to scan your system at any given point and come up with all of the different programs that are running on it. It is much better than the task manager because unlike the rather unhelpful screens in the processes tab of the task manager, RunScanner gives you extremely detailed information about all of the programs running so that you know exactly what they are. This can help a lot in your quest to remove unwanted spyware, malware, adware and autostart programs from your running programs list and free up a wealth of system resources to be used elsewhere.

The latest version of the IDEA plug in for the BestCrypt software is now available on the market and the reason that it has become so popular in such a short time is the fact that this is an easy way for you to encrypt things without having to worry about it being too easy to decrypt. The encryption software programs have started to become more popular as the average level of web sophistication increases and users begin to realize that their more important e-mails need to be encrypted at some point. This has spawned a number of excellent software programs such as BestCrypt and those software programs have a number of modules that can be used within them.
This particular module is the IDEA plug in for BestCrypt and it simply uses the IDEA algorithm in order to encrypt the information that you want kept secret. The great thing about this plug in is that it works on all Windows systems so that regardless of what version and structure of Windows you happen to be running at the time, you are still going to be able to use the IDEA plug in when you want to encrypt certain pieces of information. This plug-in has been tried, tested and true for awhile and the latest version makes it just that much better.

The newer version of Paint.NET has finally been released and for the fans of this excellent piece of software it has come not a moment too soon! The newest release of this piece of software has fixed bugs that occurred during installation as well as some poor performance during installation depending on the options that were selected. While I never experienced this when using the software, apparently some people had prolonged wait times of up to 20 minutes during an installation or removal process.
For those of you that are new to this program, Paint.NET is a rather interesting piece of software in the sense that it has become something that is used for something totally different from what it was originally intended for. The authors of Paint.NET wanted it to be a standalone and free replacement for the paint program that comes with windows, but as different versions started to come out and reception to the program began to grow more favourable, the program creators eventually decided on making it into a full-featured program supporting layers, shading and a number of other drawing tools that are either not available in paint or alternatively are available in much more detail in Paint.NET.

One of the most interesting things about writing on free programs that are available is that you can actually take a look at these programs and see what motivates the people that make them. In the case of VicMan Software, the creators of My Pictures 3D, the motivation was what was perceived as being a dull selection of screensavers that were available with the typical Windows system. What started out as a screensaver quickly developed into so much more and the eventual result was released on January 4th and labelled as version 1.2 of My Pictures 3D.
What My Pictures 3D is, quite simply, is an online gallery. This gallery is something similar to what you would see if you walked into a small art gallery near your house that regularly exhibited different works of painters in a single room. You get to walk around the room and look at different paintings and that is exactly what happens in this program as well. The only catch is that instead of paintings, what you will be looking at is different favourites from your particular photo album on your hard drive and in addition to being able to look at them through the use of the program, you can also set the program as your screensaver to have others look at them when your screensaver is on. It is an absolutely spectacular program that is available for free online.

Ever since the advent of programs like Napster and LimeWire, internet file sharing has been exploding. More and more users are accessing networks and are involved in peer-2-peer sharing on a regular basis and more and more users are finding out the great benefits that are involved with this type of activity. This is why it has become very important for users to find the right client to do their activities with and if you are one of these people wandering in a wilderness and looking for a program to see you through then Cabos for Windows might just be that program.
Cabos is a file sharing program that is based on the same type of interface and coding that inspired the creation of both the LimeWire and Acquisition software platforms. Its main strength is that it draws on those successful projects heavily, but at the same time has a number of things in place to attempt to combat the negative sides of those programs. A big example of this is in the area of unwanted files, with Cabos being a free program that cracks down on spyware and adware, making sure that they do not find their way onto your system as a consequence of your download.

The latest version of WinSCP is now out, having been released on January 3rd by Martin Prikryl. The main changes that have been made to the software are almost entirely fixes of bugs that were either discovered by Martin or else e-mailed to him by users of the program. These include the fixing of bugs such as the lack of allowance for ending a session in some cases, the incorrect listing of authentications in some cases and the poor way in which WinSCP worked externally with other prompts that it received. These are not the only bugs that were fixed but they are amongst some of the more prominent and the result is a much better piece of software for everyone to enjoy.
For people new to the program, WinSCP is a file transfer protocol program that is used within the Windows environment and secure shell handling. The main actual goal of the program is to make it easier to transfer programs and files between the local terminal that a user is currently on and a remote terminal that may exist somewhere else. The goal of the program is to allow users to do these transfers in a way that is not only secure, but also a way that is safe and efficient for all of the computers involved in the file transfer process.
More information about WinSCP and the latest edition of the program can be found at http://winscp.net/eng/index.php.

Hurray, the latest version of ActivePerl has just hit the market! This latest version, released on December 18 th, has a number of interesting new changes to this distribution of Perl that basically came from user comments in the use of the last version. This includes higher support for the Linux distribution and the Windows distribution (this one is the Windows distribution) as well as some changes to the way syntax is interpreted within the actual distribution itself. Users of the previous versions of ActivePerl will appreciate the overall increase in the user friendliness of the software and indeed if you had some complaints about the previous version, you might be pleasantly surprised by what this one has to offer.
For those of you that might be new to this software, ActivePerl for Windows is a high quality point and click installable distribution of the Perl programming language. It has a comprehensive support package behind it and essentially allows the programmer to create their code with the peace of mind of knowing that all of this is absolutely true. It is probably acknowledged as one of the best if not the best distribution of Perl currently available open source on the market and when you take that into consideration, it is definitely something worth downloading.
