Having a good data recovery software can really be a life saver. If you’ve ever problems accessing precious data or important documents because of corrupt or damaged files, at home or at work, then you know what I’m talking about. OfficeFIX is a good data recovery software that can help you put an end to such troubles.
OfficeFIX is a data recovery software suite that restores corrupt or damaged Access data bases created using MS Access 95, 97, 2000 and XP, all versions of Excel, and all versions of Word. This Suite includes ExcelFIX, AccesssFIX, and WordFIX.
How does it work?
When an Office file shows an error while trying to open it, chances are it is corrupt. OfficeFIX extracts the information from the file and creates a new file that is trouble free in a short time. Helping you access your data without stress.

CMS stands for content management system, a popular way to run a website. By setting up and using a CMS system as your website you can easily run a pretty interactive site. It allows you to have forums, download areas, news, reviews, and much more if you add block and modules.
This site i’m reviewing allows you to test out many different kinds of CMS software without having to go the long way of installing them on your webspace and trying them out. It has them all installed already and has a username and password for each demo so you can mess around and experiment with them all you want!
It resets every 2 hours, more than enough time for you to know if a particular CMS is suitable for you or not. You can do all this right over at the website right here!
A very useful site for anyone into this kind of thing and of course, being Open Source, they are all free! Just be prepared to have a lot of free time if you decide to use one, because setting them up just how you want them can take some time!

In need of cool professional invoices? Why don’t you create your own? With AB Invoicing you can create professional invoices with your own logotype without any limits in time or quantity. You can even extend the program with low cost modules for customer database, products database, invoice archive and so on. The nice thing about this software is that you get to extend with what you need, when you need it and pay only for that.
What I really appreciate about this software is that you get to try it out for free for 30 days at no cost to you and enjoy creating as many invoices as you can.

If you run a forum or you are planning to start forum boards, this software might come in handy. E-Blah is a forum system that features passworded boards, click tracking, extensive thread moderation, a full admin center, clean posting format, themes, user message blocks, attachments, message search and more.
A new version, E-Blah 10.2 has just been released for the new year. This release is a major release, with enhanced security features along with much needed cosmetic changes. The new version now requires administrator verification i.e. a pass code has to be entered for any administrator function.
The really cool thing about E-Blah is that it’s FREE! Yeah, it’s a free, open source software. Go check it out and get your own download.

Anysoft Flash SlideShow Maker is a tool to create a simple but attractive Flash slideshow from your photos that you can upload to your website to share with your friends and family.
It has several different slideshow themes to choose from, as well as background music and optional effects like dropping leaves, snowflakes and more.
It’s freeware, but to remove the “Produced by Flash Slideshow Maker” screen that gets added at the end of slideshow, you’ll have to order the pro version.
It’s a pretty cool program that’s easy to use , you just select the template you wanna use and the transition effects etc and which pictures to add, that’s all there really is to it!
So if you want to make a simple flash slideshow for your website or blog, with or without background music, this gets the job done easily with pretty good looking results, unless you’re a bad photographer of course!
You can download it free here.

There’s a lot of RSS reader programs around. Here’s one that caught my attention. It’s called GreatNews and has an impressive array of features. GreatNews is optimized for the fast and efficient reading of all your favorite web feeds. You can choose from various different view styles, including a newspaper view, that one allows you to read a group of feeds arranged in newspaper-style page layout without the hassle of having to click through individual feed items.
It also supports custom labels, email and blog integration as well as custom keyword alerts (news watches) so you can automatically find articles of interest to you and have them available in a special category. Other features include import/export feeds from/to OPML and XML files, the automatic cleanup of old items, browser integration with popup blocking and more.
GreatNews is a small, fast and very efficient RSS reader – it doesn’t require any installation either, so just unzip and run.
This is one good RSS reader worth grabbing while it’s still freeware and you can do that right here.

In need of something to help you handle your text messages with ease? Well I have a recommendation for you. It’s SMS-it.
SMS-it allows you to send a short message to a mobile phone using your computer. It supports Picture messages: Caller Group Graphic, Operator Logo, Ringtones, and FlashSMS.
It is so easy to send messages with SMS-it. Messages can be sent in different ways:
- Through a modem, using a dial-up SMS center
- Through the internet, using an account with an internet SMS center
- Through a mobile phone attached to the computer (IE attached to the IR port).
One thing worthy of note though is that sending Picture messages, Caller Group Graphics, Operator Logos and Ringtones only work for Nokia phones. Most new phones can however now receive FlashSMS.

eBuddy is a free web-based messenger that enables you to chat with your MSN, Yahoo and AIM buddies.
It requires no downloads or registration, so it’s perfect for when you’re on the go, such as at a friends computer or in an internet cafe. To use it, all you need is a java enabled browser, that’s almost all browsers these days, so you’re good to go from almost any computer. It even works from behind a firewall.
The cool thing about eBuddy is you can use it from a cellphone or any mobile device that supports xHTML or WAP , this includes Cell Phones, PDA’s, even Sony PSP and Nintendo DS!
You can go here to use it anytime you’re at a computer and need to keep in touch with your friends without having to mess around with instant messaging software.
