The name of this software program not only interest me but when I checked some of the features it has and the things functions it performs, I can not but be full of praise for the publishers. Tomato 1.26 is a software program designed to replace firmware for Linksys’ WRT54G/GL/GS, Buffalo WHR-G54S/WHR-HP-G54 and other Broadcom- based routers.

The GUI is now even easier to use, the QOS is more advanced, support for new wireless features such as WDS and wireless client modes, and limit for maximum connections for p2p have also been raised among other new features, making it a more advanced and technologically improved software more than ever than before. What is more to this version is that you can now run your custom scripts or telnet/ ssh in and do a lot of other things which include re-programming the SES/AOSS button, adds wireless site survey to see your wifi neighbors and so much more.

From download to installation and use, I never encountered much difficulty with this program. The last version is still doing well though, this version notwithstanding is expected to go many steps further to leave lasting impressions in my heart.

This is a PDF program that installs itself as a virtual PDF printer driver. It appears in your printer and faxes list just after installation. it is simple to use, all you have to do is print the document to doPDF. Choose print and select doPDF and then it ask you where you want to save the file. When you are done with this step, it automatically opens in your default PDF viewer.

doPDF does not require a third party program to do PDF files such as GhostScript or runtime environments like the .NET Framework. ASUS PC Probe Ii 1.04.83 is a simple utility that helps to monitor all activities going on inside your computer and subsequently provide you with vital information such as voltages and temperatures, fan rotations, memory usage, information about hard disk space CPU type and processor speed.

At $39.20 I will go for this program any time or any day. It is almost the best I have used and I believe it is one software that has enjoyed some hard work from the developers. priPrinter is a virtual printer and previewer. You can print from any application with full printer support, preview and inspect pages in many ways before printing graphic and empty spaces and remove all useless texts.

priPrinter allows you create booklets and posters, rearrange, drag and rescale pages to your taste and print multiple pages onto a single paper sheet. Measure graphics on the page, embed texts and watermarks into pages if you so desire with this program and check used fonts and bitmaps, search for specific texts and so many other things you can do with it.

Version 3.0.0.932 Beta provides the following features for your delight: Every feature you need to make your print easy and simple is included, preview of printing in many ways, you can also explore your job contents, print to images, booklet and posters, Duplex printing among others.

The publishers need to improve on the graphic removal feature because it does not completely remove graphics and the PDF are not too impressively handled as I would have liked. In spite of these, take nothing away from the publishers, they have done a great job.

Speed Fan 4.40 does the monitoring of fan speed, voltages in your computers, temperature with hardware monitor chips. It is a hardware monitor program that controls the fan speed according to the temperature inside your computer and in effect reduces power consumption bringing the noise level very low.

The support for this program has been greatly improved in this version. This version in review can now change fan speed very well on motherboards, the installer and the executable are now digitally signed giving you that needed assurance of the safety of your program.

How does it work? Speed fan 4.40 monitors the temperatures on your computer from different sources. When you configure it properly, fan speed can be changed based on system temperatures. As you try to set the parameters for both the minimum and maximum fan speed, make sure this is done by hand and disable all the VARIATEFAN’s checkboxes and observe the noise. The noise determines the minimum value for the fan speed.

It is a great program that comes as a freeware and I believe it will go a long way in solving a lot of power consumption problem.
