If you’ve had problems in the past removing sensitive data from your system, this should be a life saver. Eraser is an advanced security tool, which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns.Eraser is Free software and its source code is released under GNU General Public License. So Why Is Eraser A Tool Worth Having? It’s a highly recommended resource all over the web.
We all have some data that they would rather not share with others – passwords, personal information, classified documents from work, financial records, self-written poems, the list can be continued forever.
If you think when you delete a file, the data is gone, you are kidding yourself. When you delete a file, the operating system does not really remove the file from the disk; it only removes the reference of the file from the file system table. The file remains on the disk until another file is created over it, and even after that, it might be possible to recover data by studying the magnetic fields on the disk platter surface.
Before the file is overwritten, anyone can easily retrieve it with a disk maintenance or an undelete utility.
This is where Eraser comes in, Eraser is designed with a simple user interface, you can safely and easily erase private data from your hard drive.

The different menus in Restorator are: File, Resources, Viewer, Edit, Tools, and Help. Below the toolbar, you can view all the resources on the left and the resource information and the associated files list on the right. If you want to find an already existing resource on your system, you can click the find icon on the toolbar. Ditto is a freeware clipboard extension. It runs as a taskbar icon and can be set to run at startup.
The idea is that it allows you to have a long list of all the things you have copied to the clipboard for later reuse, this is usually text but can also be images. An interesting feature is the ability to keep multiple computers clipboards in sync over a network, this data is also encrypted for security when sent over the network.
The latest version is now portable too, so you can stick this on your flashdrive keyring for instant access from any computer.
This is a really useful extension for anyone who does a lot of copying and pasting. You can get it at the homepage here.

Here is something you will definitely find very useful. MyUninstaller is a good alternative to the standard Add/Remove applet of Windows operating system. It displays the list of all installed application, and allows you to uninstall an application, delete an uninstall entry, and save the list of all installed applications into a text file or HTML file. It provides additional information for most installed applications that the standard Add/Remove applet doesn’t display: product name, company, version, uninstall string, installation folder and more.
A new updated version was just recently released, MyUninstaller 1.36 and the major change in this version is that a new feature has been added. Added “Change Software Installation” option, for programs that support installation change

Often website developers need to protect certain sections or web pages from unauthorized access. Manually coding such features for each page takes an inordinate amount of time which can be saved by the Page Protection software 1.0. The software presents the feature of protecting any specific web page with a password. It’s easy to use the software for setting the code. The developer can protect the page in manner so that the access granted is under permitted conditions.
You would find the software downloaded in few moments and the installation is finished with a few clicks. The screen is not much burdened with unneccessary options giving it a simple look. The ‘Input’ option is for setting up of the code. You can select cookies, sessions and GET for the password memory. For generating the password you can select the letter case, numbers and exclude option. You can set the number for the length of the password. After doing all this you need to generate a password that would give the access to the web page. The user’s password validity can be set to as many days as you want. The style sheet for the password page can be applied. It can be left empty for the default style sheet. You can build the code when the variables have been set. The user is sent a password request by the server for displaying the page. The web page could only be accessed if the password submitted is correct. You can share the information making it secured by the password protector. Even the user would not be able to access the page after the time validity set for the password is over. You can store the password through the cookies in your computer.
This software is useful sharing confidential information with the selected people. It’s excellent to use and quick and easy to operate by any one. Overall the little piece of software is a great utility for professional web developers.

There are a number of different programs around that allow you to monitor your usage when it comes to windows programs but at the same time there are programs that are overstuffed with unnecessary stuff. It is just not really logical to think that you would need a program overstuffed with different services in order to do the usage monitoring tasks that you want. Monitoring your usage is one thing, but some of these programs come with so many different addons that even if you really knew what you wanted to do via the usage issue, you might not even really know where you should begin.
Usage Monitor however makes sure that this is not really a problem. It is a very simple software package that basically has a window where you can look at all of the different processes currently being run on your computer. Through the use of the usage monitor, you can make sure that you have the ability to use it to set watch limits on the different processes on your computer. This serves ultimately to allow the usage monitor to let you know when the processes are using too much of the system’s resources, thereby allowing you to quickly respond before the situation gets out of hand.

Whenever you take a look at your own process monitor such as the one you can access from your desktop by pressing ‘Ctrl’ + ‘Alt’ + ‘Delete’, have you ever had the feeling of frustration of not really understanding exactly what was going on? Was the process list an endless list of things that you had no clue about? I’ve certainly had that feeling and for those of us that aren’t terribly computer savvy, the Process Monitor 1.12 is definitely the piece of software that you absolutely want to have.
It’s an advanced monitoring tool for any Windows system and it basically shows the real time file system activities. These include things like the actual tasks and processes as well as information about the registry delivered to you in real time. You can use any number of special features to figure out exactly what each task is doing and perhaps that more than anything else is what the appeal of this piece of software is. The idea that you can finally figure out exactly what’s been going on in your computer this whole time and then cut back on the programs that you don’t need so that the resources of your computer are free to deal with other things is a very powerful idea indeed.
